The Late and Great Patsy Cline
From the Deluxe CD
"The Late and Great Patsy Cline & Dottie West"

Non-Commercial Recordings

Patsy recorded a number of military recruiting radio shows, and spot announcements for a variety of events, in addition to her appearances on the Grand Ole Opry. These programs were distributed to radio stations around the country on 12" or 16" transcription discs, which were meant to be destroyed after broadcast. Fortunately, a number of these discs survived and have found their way into the hands of collectors who have preserved and shared these performances with Patsifans around the world.
